Sue Pilkington, FSIA, RSP (Aust)
Sue has over thirty years experience in OHS and risk management in
leading global FMCG, Agribusiness and Packaging organisations and
has extensive experience in strategic and operational risk management
and project management . Sue holds a Graduate Diploma in Occupational
Hazard Management and is a Fellow of both the Safety Institute and the
Risk Management Institution of Australia . She is National President of
the Safety Institute of Australia and chairs the Legislative Stream of
the National Technical Panel of the SIA.

Tony Mitchell, CPMSIA, RSP (Aust), MHlthSc (RM)
Tony Mitchell has an extensive background in Army, Defence and civilian
Occupational Health and Safety roles which provides him broad defence,
regulatory, and professional risk and OHS experience. As a successful
senior officer and manager, he has a pragmatic approach to OHS
leadership that is focused on whole-of-business risk control,
operational integration, and long term effective behavioural change. He
has a Masters in Health Science (Risk Management) and Graduate Diploma
in Occupational Health and Safety through the Queensland University of
Technology. He was awarded the Safety Institute of Australia (SIA) Medal
for his academic achievements, leadership and professional capability
in 2001. He has remained a member since joining the SIA in 1997. Tony
has developed sound skills in the management of teams, projects and
committees. He has a strong collaborative team focus, which has ensured
his reliable project and product delivery track record. He is loyal,
hardworking and honest, and puts people first.

Stephen Thomas, CFSIA, RSP (Aust)
A member of the SIA since 1994 with post graduate qualifications in
social science, education and OHS. Stephen has 25 years as an OHS
professional and has worked in the capacity of OHS advisor, senior
advisor and manager in many industry sectors including state and local
government, the university sector, aviation sector, defence sector and
Workcover SA. He is engaged as a Senior Consultant OHSW&IM at the
University of South Australia, and has his own private consulting
practice. Stephen is also a visiting lecturer at Flinders University in
South Australia. He is a both a Chartered Fellow of the SIA and IOSH
(UK) and past President of the SA Division and currently holds
positions on the National Technical Panel, Education Chapter Management
Committee and SA Division Management Committee.

Mr John Everett, FSIA, RSP (Aust), MPH, Grad Dipl OHS, JP
John Everett has an extensive background in Occupational Health and Safety roles which provides him broad OHS experience. This has been developed in the underground coal mines in the Southern NSW, and also holding underground coal mining qualifications. He has managed and supervised underground coal mining operations encompassing development work, pillar extraction and long wall extraction operations. He also participated in two mine rescues and undertook formal studies in colliery safety and training. He has a Masters in Public Health and Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Wollongong University). He has remained a member since joining the SIA in1990, and appointed a Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia in 2000, and has been a member of the NSW/ACT Divisions during that period. He has been a member of the ACT Executive for the last two years and was elected as President of the ACT Executive in August 2010, and a National Representative since November 2010.

Karen Wolfe, CPMSIA, RSP (Aust)
Karen is the current Chair of NSW branch of the SIA and has represented NSW on the National Board of Management for 2 years. She commenced her OHS life with WorkCover NSW as a Safety Inspector.
During her time there she developed the OHS guidelines for the Child
Care industry, conducted training in Fiji for th Fijian safety
Inspectors in preparation for the transition to new legislation
anddevelped recommendations for the implemenation of the Manual Handling
regulations.
The last few years have seen her employed at the Australian Nuclear
Science & Technology Organisation as the OHS Manager. Her team there
developed a Contractor Maangement system that won the 2004 Comcare
Award. She is currently working as the OHS Manager for ANSTO Health who
produce radiopharmaceuticals for national and international medical
usage.

Mr. Jonathon Temby, FSIA, RSP (Aust)
With over 25 years OHS related experience, Jon has worked in high risk
industries in practical and executive OHS management roles. He is
familiar with heavy engineering, engineering construction, major
infrastructure operations and management and working in high risk Safety
Case/Major Hazard Facility environments. He has managed OHS/HSSE teams
across Australia, Asia Pacific, Middle East and India, coordinating and
enhancing site management skills and performance.
With high level investigation skills and significant involvement in
coaching, mentoring, security, training and environment, Jon brings a
breadth of practical experience qualifications, flexibility and
communication skills to the national board.

Mr. Greg Stagbouer, FSIA, RSP (Aust)
Greg has 25 years in the mining industry with the last 10 directly
involved with Safety with both multinational mining companies and
contractors. In his current role Greg is the General Manager for HSE,
Training and Quality for the Ausdrill Group, an international company
with 14 business across Australia and Africa in earth moving and mining,
drill and blast, exploration, coal seam gas and manufacturing. Greg has
an Associate Degree in Mining, A Bachelor of Education (Adult Education
and Training), A Graduate Diploma and Masters in OHS and is a Fellow of
the SIA. Greg is currently the VP of the SIA WA Division and is the WA
Representative on the National Board of Management, and is also a
Director of the Aust. Drilling Industry Association.
